Join Governor Strickland for a Canvass Kick Off this Saturday!

There are only 19 days until Election Day and now is the time to focus on Getting Out The Vote!   Please join us this Saturday at 11:30am at Democratic HQ for a canvass. Governor Strickland will be here at 11:30 to share words of encouragement and remind us why it is so important to work hard this year. After the Governor speaks, we’ll grab some walk lists and hit the streets. So grab your walking shoes, your family and friends, and we’ll see you down here at HQ at 11:30am.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Lakia Gray from the coordinated campaign at 223-3729.

Join President Obama and the First Lady for a rally in Columbus!

I am very excited to announce that President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will be in the Buckeye State on Sunday, October 17th. The President and First Lady will be in Columbus for an organizing rally at 5pm. The exact location is yet to be announced, however it will be somewhere near The Ohio State University.

We are really trying to have a great Montgomery County presence at this rally! If you are interested in attending, I need you to reply with your name, phone number, and email address.

As a registered Democrat, I would love to participate, however I lost my job 2 years ago, have heart failure, no transportation and have 0 income or assets except for a food card. Can you tell me how I can obtain just basic personal hygiene items such as toilet tissue and soap? What is my Party doing to correct this inequity? I have worked my whole life and yet cannot make myself presentable to go out in public.
